Summary of Saturdays meeting.
All 2014 officers have been re-elected for 2015.

Financially it was another good year for NEFAR. After all expenses and
donations the account is just slightly above last years amount.
Jason Cook, Eric Zsolczai and Freddy Willems volunteered to form a PR committee for future events as needed.
The use of quadcopters and possible liability issues was discussed.
Members have decided to set guidelines based on safety concerns.
The use and operation of the recently purchased PR-100A Tracking
Receiver was discussed. Members have decided that flyers who want to
purchase their own transmitters will choose a channel not used by other
flyers and a list of whose on what channel will be maintained on the
website. There are 50 channels to choose from. The club will purchase
two more low power units for a total of three on channels #70, #80 and
#91.
Jimmy Yawn who has hosted a multitude of model rocket classes over the
years has amassed an inventory of scratched built rockets. Jimmy has
proposed that these rockets be given out to kids who come but don't
have their own rocket to fly. These models will include the motor,
igniter and use a streamer for recovery. This Idea has been approved.
Discussion concerning the upcoming NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium
hybrid contest during the weekend of the MiniBlast. It has
been confirmed at this posting that 11 universities with a total
of 25 teams will compete. YIKES! Stay tuned for further development on
this issue.
